The Cambridge Advanced Level is aimed for learners aged 16 to 19 years who require advanced study to prepare for university and higher education. The syllabuses develop a deep understanding of subjects and independent thinking skills.

EXAMINATION & ASSESSMENT
The programme is structured in two halves, Cambridge International AS and A Level. The Cambridge International AS and A Level examination series is held twice a year, in June and November while results are commonly issued in August and January.
